Idea of the Week

The Ultimate form of preparation

“The ultimate form of preparation is not planning for a specific scenario, but a mindset that can handle uncertainty.”

James Clear

Lesson of the Week

Actual life begins after the completion of materialistic life

Bhagavad Gita says:

Who has the authority to read Bhagavad Gita?

Human being can attain a divine life or Krishna consciousness at once within a moment or may not attain it even after millions of lifetimes. It is only a matter of understanding and accepting the truth.

Maharaja Katvanga attained such a state of life just a few minutes before his death by surrendering unto Krishna. Nirvana means ending of the process of materialistic life. According to Buddhism, on completion of this material life, what is left behind is only a void, but Bhagavad Gita has something different to teach.

Actual life begins after the completion of this material life.

For the gross materialist, it is enough to know that the end of this materialistic way of life is guaranteed but the persons who are spiritually advanced, for them there is beginning of another life after this materialistic life.

Before ending this material life, if one fortunately becomes Krishna conscious, he at once attains the stage of Brahma Nirvana.

There is no difference between the Kingdom of God and the devotional service of the Lord. Because both of them are on the highest position, to be involved in Lord’s devotion is to have attained the spiritual kingdom.

In the material world there are activities of sense gratification whereas in the spiritual world there are activities of Krishna consciousness. Attainment of Krishna consciousness even during this life is immediate attainment of Brahman and one who is situated in Krishna consciousness has certainly already entered into the Kingdom of God.

Brahma is just the opposite of matter. Therefore, Brahma Stithi means “not being in the plane of material activities”.

Devotional service of the Lord is accepted in the Bhagavad Gita as the liberated stage. Brahma stithi is the liberation from the material bondage.

Inspiration of the Week:

How to live life on your terms?

1. Take everything that this world gives you, the good and the bad but sort it once it arrives at your door. Don’t return the bad, just stop wearing it in your life.

2. Be good but don’t go out being nice. You will be admired for your goodness but niceness might make them take you for granted.

3. Don’t prove them wrong but also don’t dismiss your perspective.

4. Don’t fear the challenges, Be the one from whom challenges dread from.

5. Don’t ask them for love, be irresistibly lovable.

6. Give explanations to those who want to understand and your silence to those who misunderstand you.

7. Fill their cup only after yours is full.

8. Don’t stop doing right even if your tribe does not favour or appreciate it.

9. If loving someone reduces your love for yourself, stop giving that love to someone.

10. Attend them all but decide before you serve them. Not all of them knocking your door deserve your service.
