And really I think I like who I am Becoming

And really I think I like who I am Becoming.

My list of desires had everything—except a better version of myself.

Like any other dream, becoming your better self demands readiness. More than ambition, it requires a deep, honest desire to see yourself grow, transform, and evolve. Only when growth becomes a conscious choice does life begin placing you exactly where your evolution is waiting.

Otherwise, something subtle happens.

When the desire to become better is missing from the list, you begin chasing everything that can never truly fulfill you.

Yes—growth tops the list.
Transformation is the key that unlocks the door to every other dream.

And perhaps that is why growth is the highest accolade of life—one we don’t volunteer for. We are chosen for it.

When Growth Wasn’t on My Dream List

Nobody told me to include growth as my top priority.

So I kept stacking endless dreams, unaware that none of them carried the value that becoming my better self did. I played an unfair game with myself—one where I kept winning things that didn’t truly matter.

My thoughts revolved around desires meant to please my senses and entertain me. I was completely clueless that something far more valuable existed—my growth, my transformation, my evolution.

Because growth wasn’t part of my dream list, I had no roadmap.
No grit.
No preparation.

Instead, my attention stayed hooked on what I wanted, quietly pulling me away from the real treasure—transformation.

Perhaps growth is a desire independent of all others,
yet every other desire depends on it.

Why Dreams Without Growth Collapse

You may achieve every dream—but if you haven’t grown enough to hold them, to carry them, to live them with lasting joy, their fulfillment turns futile.

However, when you grow into the capacity to contain your dreams without losing yourself, you build something rare: perpetual joy.

Without growth, we may have everything—yet lack the wisdom to carry its weight. In fact, the very dreams we once imagined can cripple us if we haven’t grown strong enough to take responsibility for them.

This is where my story changed.

When the Universe Added “Better Version” to My List

The Universe saved me.

Without my consent, it added “Better Version” to my list of desires. I couldn’t see it—but it was always there. And because the Universe added it, it also planned the roadmap.

I wasn’t asked to understand it.
I was asked to walk it.

The entire path remained invisible to me. Instead, guidance arrived one step at a time.

My chosen dreams hadn’t manifested yet, but the dream the Universe chose for me—my evolution—began unfolding at a relentless pace.

At first, it felt overwhelming. The plan made no sense to my limited sight. And choice was never really mine—this was no cakewalk, but a relentless uphill climb.

Dreams come with a price.
But when the dream is becoming your better version, it isn’t just expensive—it is sometimes unaffordable.

Resisting the Very Thing Meant to Save Me

Perhaps I didn’t understand the value of growth—so I resented the process.

The road felt harsh.
The experiences felt unfair.

Because I didn’t choose growth consciously, I didn’t fight for it willingly.

This dream was being cultivated in a place most would run from—a muddled phase of life that kept pulling me back until the growth became undeniable.

That’s when I realized something profound:

Growth isn’t something we pursue. It pursues us.

And when it does, it arrives disguised as problems, struggles, pain, and adversity—enough to shake you to your core. The reward may be magnificent, but the price can drain your resilience.

Still, growth doesn’t let you escape.
It stays—until it becomes you.

The Hijacks That Were Actually Preparing Me

Long before my dreams manifested, I was consumed by what I once called hijacks. They took over my life so completely that I forgot my other dreams.

I believed I had lost them.

Only later did I realize these hijacks were preparatory precursors—training grounds for everything I once desired.

And now, as I begin to succeed within them, I realize something quietly powerful:

I like who I am becoming.

The strength and magnificence growth has infused into me—I wouldn’t trade it for any dream I once chose. This growth adorns me like the mark of a true winner.

This new version reveals a divine hierarchy—one that sees the entire journey and scripts life according to growth and purpose. It doesn’t care how big our dreams are. It waits until we become someone ready for them—and unattached to them.

Once again, Better Version rises to the top of my list of desires.

From Fear to Adventure

Now, the path that once terrified me feels like an adventure.

Because growth isn’t the absence of chaos.
It is the presence of calm despite it.

This growth is so fulfilling that everything I once chased feels insignificant. I found happiness in stillness. In nothingness.

Perhaps that was the Universe’s plan all along—to teach me not to objectify happiness.

I still work toward my dreams—but now they rest on a stable foundation. A shaky base cannot hold anything.

Personal growth builds empires without the fear of collapse.
It prepares us to hold the giant mansions of our dreams.

That is what growth looks like.

Five Signs My Growth Has Taken Form

1. Emotional Alchemy

My anger still exists—but it no longer poisons me. I’ve learned to transmute it into fuel. Growth placed me in situations that triggered it repeatedly—until reacting exhausted me into awareness. Now my anger faces a wilder opponent: consciousness.

2. From Overthinking to the Best-Case Scenario

I stopped fighting overthinking—and redirected it. Instead of fearing outcomes, I imagine possibilities. I didn’t solve the problem; I changed my relationship with it. Fear drained me. Possibility empowers me.

3. Checking My System

God never promised a life without chaos—only the wisdom to face it. So now, when life feels heavy, I recalibrate instead of complaining. This body and mind are the most advanced systems ever made. When operated with awareness, peace becomes the default setting.

4. I Wear My Weaknesses

Glass knows it’s breakable—that’s why we handle it with care. Mountains know their strength—that’s why they inspire climbers. Butterflies embrace fragility—and become breathtaking.

I once feared my flaws. Now I understand this truth:
The strength of your spirit is measured by how much truth you can hold.

When you stop running from your reflection and start growing from it, the world sees your light—not despite your truth, but because of it.

5. I Unlocked My Mental Bars

We all build invisible prisons made of fear, doubt, and unhealed wounds. The tragedy is that we hold the key. The bars aren’t real—they exist only as long as we believe in them. When I faced mine, I realized my freedom was never locked. It was waiting—on the other side of belief.

Better Version: The Dream That Now Leads Them All

Now, when I look back at my list of desires, Better Version stands at the top.

And every time I read it, I remind myself:

“I really like who I am becoming.”
