Evolve and Elevate: Unfair circumstances, Big secret of Bhagavad Gita, What I try my best to avoid in life?
Idea of the Week
“Our circumstances can be unfair, unjust, unexpected. Yet? This doesn’t absolve us of needing to figure out how to navigate them, make good use of them.
Seneca could not change the fact of his exile…but he could transform it.
The same is true for us.
Whatever life hands us or a tyrant hands down for us, we have to make it right. We have to create justice and progress and good from it. It’s unfair, but it is fate. We can turn this misfortune into a better future. It is the only way forward.”

Lesson of the Week
Bhagavad Gita says:

God does not ask any human being to chant His name and leave the Karma that he needs to carry out for a living.
He says, “While you do your Karma, remember me”.
In this world, to take care of your body, you will have to perform Karmas. (Daily actions for a living)
In human society, whether someone is a laborer, farmer, teacher, politician, scientist, writer or any other profession, each one has to perform Karma for his/her living.
Lord Krishna says to Arjuna that he should not leave his Karma but while he performs his karma, he should remember Him.
If one does not practice remembering God in his day-to-day life, he/she will not be able to remember God at the time of Death as well.
We should always do the Samaran (Remembering) of Lord Krishna while continuing all our tasks of the physical world.
Lord Chaitanya also guides us to keep chanting God’s name.
God’s name and God are not two different things.
Hence, we should direct our daily routine in such a manner that we are always remembering God in everything we do.
If we have deep and boundless love for God, then we can remember Him in all our activities.
Lord Krishna says,
From all the Bhaktas (devotees), the one who with his/her Bhakti Yog (deep devotion) follows my orders, remembers about me in his heart and serves me with divine love, that Bhakt (devotee) will reside inside my heart.
This is only my perspective.
Infact the person who remembers God while doing all his activities, he is the biggest yogi (Saint), and highly knowledgeable at the same time.
In reality, we do not perform our karmas with our bodies but it’s our mind and heart that creates the seed of Karma where lies the intention of Karma.
Hence if our heart and mind is always meditating God or is in the Bhakti (devotion) of God then it is very obvious and possible that our senses will also be serving God’s will.
When you practice God’s name while carrying out your Karmas, the functionality of all the senses on the surface remains the same, i.e. all sorts of emotions that a human being experiences whether good or bad will still exist but Chetna (the understanding) about these emotions will change and make you wiser to not let these emotions take control over you.
If you can concentrate on chanting God’s name, then you can direct all the senses towards God’s service.
This is a talent, and this is only the big secret of Bhagavad Gita that if you remember God in everything you do, then your senses will be directed towards God and hence your Karmas will be purified and performed as per God’s will.
Inspiration of the Week:
What I try my best to avoid in Life?

After having walked the dark tunnel, now when I have reached the end of it, I see something ironical.
Everyone outside is walking in more darkness.
I don’t see the light outside anymore.
I treaded hard through the tunnel expecting someday I would join the ones enjoying the light outside. But I’m taken aback by their darkness.
Their light is just like the mirage in the desert and the sad part is they are hoping it will quench their thirst.
But it’s just an illusion.
Now when I want to help them, it isn’t easy.
Because while they are standing in that illusional light, if I lecture them about where exactly the true light is, even if they understand it, they’ll never accept their light to be an illusion.
I want to correct them.
I want to show them the right way.
I want to ask them to follow me.
I want to take them away from the light they are in and bring them closer to the place where they can illuminate.
But I avoid.
I take a step back.
Not because I don’t want to make the effort but because I don’t want to force them to see the gold that I have found the location of. Because If I do, they might come with me but not realize the value of the gold.
Instead, I want to shine, I want to blossom, I want to illuminate so much so that they feel attracted magnetically to my aura.
And once they feel the attraction, the desire to know how I cultivated the shine will come naturally to them.
The idea is not to change their path just to show where exactly the right destination is, but to bring a change in them so that they relish the path itself.
I avoid telling them, I understood life more.
I choose to say that my Life is growing beautiful.
